Hello, I’m Diane Parish and I would like to share something of myself with you.
I am often asked "Why real estate?", which is easy to answer.
I came from a rural background growing up on a farm at Hilton (between Temuka and Geraldine) in South Canterbury where I started my first business as a young teenager and quickly discovered a natural flair for sales and a passion for working with people.
As an ambitious young entrepreneur, I owned and operated a string of businesses from selling clothing and toiletries from the boot of my car to Beekeeping, and a Fish and Chippery, but had always harbored a desire to become a real estate professional.
I was also influenced hugely by two real estate salespeople that I dealt with on separate property transactions while living in Christchurch for 11 years. I felt real estate was able to offer me freedom, allow me to use my creative flair in marketing and give me the variety needed to keep me excited about waking up every morning to spend my day doing something that I loved, which was spending time helping and advising people, strategize on how best to make their next move!
Diane Parish Real Estate Agent I am very excited to let you know that I resigned as Manager of the Summit Blenheim Office after 8 years of service to this position, and finished at the end of December 2018. Now, having celebrated 30 years in this industry, I have turned a full circle and returned to my true love of Real Estate Sales, which will enable me to spend more time with people like you!
Diane Parish - Giving the Gift of ThymeRooted in the soil from my rural background, I have a strong sense of community which is very important to me. I like to give back to the community in small ways to show my appreciation and gratitude for the support I am given.
Picton High StreetAfter 19 years in Temuka, listing and selling real estate, it was time for a change in location.
Myself and my longtime partner decided to make a move to Marlborough after having spent many a happy holiday here, purchasing the First National Real Estate office in Picton, late 2006, attracted by the climate and great lifestyle the region offered.
Harcourts, Temuka Real EstateWhen I returned to the area of South Canterbury in 1988, after 11 years in Christchurch, I had already qualified as a real estate salesperson and was ready to hit the streets running the day I arrived, working for a company who had already hired me, with my office based in Temuka.
